Ten Speed Press
As director of marketing strategy at Ten Speed Press, Windy Dorresteyn plays a leadership role in strategy development and execution, as well as product creation, positioning, and title marketing. Windy began her career at Ten Speed Press, where she worked in the editorial and production departments from 1999 until 2004. She subsequently became a well-regarded retail merchandiser, acquiring a decade of experience at high-profile brands such as Old Navy, Walmart.com, and Williams-Sonoma, where she spent four years as the book buyer and codeveloped a highly successful private-label publishing program. Windy is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied English and art history.
